Access details: start on the Reed Lakes trail and proceed to the end of the Reed Valley and you will come to a set of cols. The col on the right leads to the Bomber Glacier. Hit the glacier and proceed upward/outward. The bomber should be visible from mid to late summer.
What remains of the crashed Air Force Bomber. Not much after years of scavenging. I found an old survival kit on top of a nearby peak. Photo by Jeff Sands
