Another of the CSP's more intense climbs, Beelzebub can be accessed from either the
ERNC via Twin Falls Creek and Blue-eyed Lake, or from the north from the Eklutna Glacier.
The 1st ascent, featured in the MCA's Sept. 1965 Scree, was made from the west branch of the Eklutna Glacier,
The mountain was named by the first ascent team, apparantly because they felt that
"this name for the Devil was considered appropriate."
