From the summit of Eagle Peak
Access details: From the Eagle River Nature Center, hike up towards Heritage Falls camp. It is very difficult to get into the valley from Icicle Canyon, so to avoid it trend north and uphill before the camp, or at least before Icicle Creek. Hike uphill until well above the canyon, then traverse into Icicle Valley. Some semblance of a trail supposedly corresponds with a line of alders above the canyon and continues up into the valley. These details are unconfirmed.
