We started at about 10pm at the Crow Pass trailhead in Girdwood. It took us about an hour to get up to Crystal Lake, and we camped out because we had gotten such a late start.

The next day we got up early, cooked some breakfast, and headed off in the direction of Eagle River. Here I am in front of Raven Glacier.
I just waded across Clear Creek.

Before long, we came to the river. It was pretty high. We forded it with little difficulty however.
The trip across the river was not without its discomforts.
