First Ascent-1961; Hart, Carson, Gendwell, and Godwin (Scree)
NW aspect from Rabbit Lake
North Suicide from Rabbit Lake-7/29/2004
Named sometime before the 1950's, the name, which was applied to four local peaks (N & S Suicide, Homicide, and Ptarmigan were Suicides I, II, III, & IV), "assumably indicates the pioneer attitude of climbing such mountains in the pre-climbing era of Alaska." (Scree 12/83)
